L. Darlene Zenami is a leprechaun, spawned by one Irish mother and a Native American father.

Darlene trained as a forensic artist at Northwestern University near Chicago where she fell in love with the human face & form.  She has been commissioned as a portrait artist for over 9 years.  She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Human Services.

She is also an Art Therapist through a local hospice, where she enlists her training as a victim interviewer as well as her reserves of compassion to help traumatized children heal through artistic expression.

Darlene lives close to the Earth.  She has 4 children and several grandchildren, who are the greatest loves of her life.

She hopes her epitaph will say:  “She had the chance to live like she was dying.  So ~ she did!"
