     I am a native Atlantan and was blessed with the nickname Duchess (honoring an aunt) at birth.  I am a custom clothier, it has taken me 30 years to see this dream come to completion and I am starting to see it happening. The name of my company is Duchess Designs, LLC. I specializing in hand-made vintage-inspired evening/bridal gowns and costume jewelry.  The evening/bridal gowns are designed to the specifications of the prospective bride.  The gowns are constructed in elegant fabrics, using precision techniques.  

    The same attention to detail is applied to the construction of the costume jewelry.   These pieces are constructed using precious metals, semi-precious stones, Swarovski crystals and various accent beads.  Many of  my customers will send a swatch of fabric and request coordinating jewelry pieces.   

     I have been sewing for 40 years and continues to refine her skills by taking extensive training from industry professionals.  My attention to detail is reflected in every piece constructed.

I have been in love with sewing most of my life and now I am following my dream.  I would like to work with you on your dream design.
